Large Item Pickup Services

What Is Considered a Large Item?

A large item is anything too big for your regular trash bin — box springs, mattresses, old water heaters, air conditioners, and similar items. Lug Away only collects items that meet local disposal rules and tells you how to prep them ahead of time. This keeps homeowners in Boston clear of fines and delays.

Common Bulky Items We Remove

We haul old couches, broken furniture, large electronics, box springs, treadmills — anything too heavy or awkward to move yourself. Give us your service address and our crew takes care of the lifting, safely and efficiently.

Preparing for Item Pickup

Clear the area around your item of fire hydrants, parked cars, utility poles, and other obstructions before we arrive. Place items curbside or in an accessible driveway, away from power lines or walkways, so pickup goes quick and safe.
