Senior Housing Cleanout Services

Our Process

Clearing out a senior’s home comes with its own challenges, and often plenty of memories. We’ve built a process for senior housing cleanouts that respects both.

Our team works with families to sort belongings, keeping what matters and handling the rest responsibly.

1. Initial assessment and planning
2. Careful sorting of personal belongings
3. Identifying valuable or sentimental items
4. Coordinating donations and responsible disposal
5. Deep cleaning of the living space
6. Final walk-through with the family

Each senior housing cleanout is handled based on what the situation calls for.

What We Take

A senior housing cleanout with Lug Away covers most everything found in a senior’s home:

• Furniture (including antiques and heirlooms)
• Appliances (large and small)
• Personal belongings (clothing, books, photographs)
• Medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds)
• Household goods (kitchenware, linens, decorations)
• Papers and documents (secure shredding available)
• And More!

We sort for donation, recycling, or disposal, so usable items find new homes and less ends up wasted.
